Returns, Refunds and Exchanges Policy

Hijabitood will gladly exchange or accept the return of unworn, unlaundered merchandise when it is returned in saleable condition and the tags have not been removed. The return must be initiated within 30 days of receipt of the order. Unless there is a manufacturer defect, your item must be in its original unused condition to be returned or exchanged. This means, including but not limited to:  the garment has not been worn beyond trying it on for fit, no tags have been removed, the garment has not been laundered, and there is no strong perfume or laundry detergent odor.

You must contact Hijabitood within the first 30 days after delivery at TheHijabLadies@hijabitood.com .

If the item was a gift, please include the gift receipt when possible. You can return a gift for a store credit or the gift amount will be refunded via the payment method on file with our payment processor.

How To Return An Item

There are two ways to initiate the return process.

  1. a. Log in to your Hijabitood account (My Account).
  2. Click on the “RETURN” link.
  3. Follow the instructions you find there.
  4. We will send an e-mail once the item has been received and the refund processed.
  5.  a. Please email TheHijabLadies@hijabitood.com to request a refund. 
  6. In your package include a short note stating the reason for your return, and the original receipt.
  7. Mail your item, via the United States Postal Servicewith delivery confirmationto:

Hijabitood cannot be responsible for items that get lost in the mail. Be sure to include delivery confirmation when you return your package.

Shipping charges refunds

In most cases, return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer.  In the event that Hijabitood shipped an item in error or the item is defective, Hijabitood will pay shipping to rectify the situation.

After the return, should your order fall below the threshold for free shipping, the standard shipping fee of $5 will be deducted from your refund. For example, your order was $25 and qualified for free shipping, but after an $11 return, your order only totaled $14. It no longer qualifies for free shipping and the standard shipping fee of $5 will be deducted from your $11 refund.

Return Exceptions

Merchandise that has been worn, used, altered, or that does not have the original tags will not be accepted for return or exchange. 

Restocking Fee
Hijabitood does not charge a restocking fee. However, the original shipping fee that you paid on the order is non-refundable. 

Exchanges
If your clothing item is in new condition, you may exchange your clothing item for a different size, color, or style if your requested item is in stock. You will, however, have to pay return shipping.

International Orders

Hijabitood uses the United States Postal Service (USPS) for international shipping and will ship to any country on the USPS “Ship To” list. For international shipments, the recipient is the importer of record. As such, the recipient is responsible for shipping costs and any additional costs the country of destination may apply. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees which are levied once a shipment reaches the recipient's country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they might be.
